Parish Council Meeting, Friday 13th November 2026, 7pm Hackness Village Hall

The agenda and supporting papers for the next Council meeting are not published until about 5 days before the meeting

The Hackness & Harwood Dale Group Parish Council website is a way of letting more people know about the Parish Council, what it does and what is discussed at Parish Council meetings.

It’s called a Group Parish Council because it comprises 6 parishes – Broxa cum Troutsdale, Darncombe cum Langdale End, Hackness, Harwood Dale, Silpho and Suffield cum Everley.

This site includes Minutes of meetings (from 1.4.04), the Agenda for the next meeting of the Parish Council, details of planning applications, notices and other things related to the Parish Council and the area it represents.

The Parish Council has eight Councillors and looks after the interests of its 6 parishes and inhabitants. Everyone is welcome to attend Parish Council meetings, and there is always a chance for members of the public to ask questions or raise matters of concern. If you can’t get to a meeting, speak to any of the Councillors, or the Clerk, who can raise the issue on your behalf.

The Parish Council meets on the second Friday of January, March, May, July, September and November.

The website is maintained by the Clerk to the Parish Council.

If you have any suggestions for ways in which the site could be improved, things you would like to see on the site, or you have a question about the parish council, thenĀ please email the Clerk, Mrs J. Marley
